Heritage Foundation Inc. – Arnold’s Cove Arnold's Cove

Objective:

The Arnolds Cove Heritage Foundation is working to make Arnolds Cove a showplace for Heritage Tourism, which is the fastest growing arm of the tourist industry today. It tells the story of resettlement through video, written documentation and photos. Other projects include restoring three abandoned churchyards which are pre-Resettlement and to identify and develop well known local landmarks.

Heritage House Museum / Tourism Association – Burin Burin

Objective:

The Burin Heritage Association consist of a Heritage House, also known as the Reddy House, and a museum in the first Bank of Nova Scotia building. On the premises we also have a Craft Shop for local goods and an Oldest Colony Trust Building which is used for events. It features artifacts relating to the history of Burin, materials related to the Banks fishery, and a wildlife display.

The Logy Bay - Middle Cove - Outer Cove Heritage Committee was formed in October 1995, with the goal of preserving and promoting our Town's rich history through the establishment of a museum. Heritage Society / Museum – Lamaline Lamaline

Objective:

The Lamaline Heritage Museum, operating in July and August, has eight rooms displaying unique artifacts depicting life in the late 1800s and early 1900s. This museum is operated by the Lamaline Heritage Society whose mandate is to research, develop and promote the history and culture of the Lamaline area through Tidal Wave Interpretation sites throughout the area.
