The Health Commission is responsible for the overall health concerns of Labrador Inuit. Due to jurisdictional concerns with the provincial government, LIHC does not yet provide direct medical care. LIHC does however, provide program delivery in the areas of mental health, non-insured health benefits, community health and safety, addictions, public health, and family services. Labrador Military Museum

Happy Valley-Goose Bay

Objective:

This museum, located at 5 Wing Goose Bay, features items from the Canadian, American, Dutch, German, and British Air Forces. It is the only military-dedicated museum in all of Labrador. The Museum has undergone recent renovations in 2019, and showcases showcases such articles as flying suits, radar scopes, photographs, documents, artifacts and so much more.
