The Burin Peninsula Laubach Literacy Council operates a drop in learning centre for literacy instruction. It provides training, co-ordination and support for tutors and adult students on the Burin Peninsula. They also provide a summer read for fun program, a six week reading camp, for children at Black Duck Cove.
