Objective:

The Blackhead One Room School and Church Museum was established to preserve and interpret the cultural history of the community of Blackhead. The museum is governed by the Chapel Restoration Committee Blackhead, Cape Spear Inc. The museum collects, interprets, and records historical information and artifacts relating to Blackhead, and preserves the built history of the community. It provides interpretation through exhibits and displays, online information, and tours. The museum serves current residents and descendants of Blackhead, as well as tourists and all people who share an interest in cultural heritage.
