The Carmanville Recreation Committee is a volunteer organization that ensures the towns recreational facilities are well maintained and looked after. Apart from looking after these facilities the Recreation Committee runs several programs and events throughout the year. The committee runs a weekly bingo at the town hall as a fundraiser, they run the annual "Aunt Martha's Sheep Festival", and finally the committee runs a summer program for local children allowing kids to take part in numerous recreational activities. The program also provides summer employment for 4-6 students.

Come By Chance residents enjoy a variety of recreational facilities including the playground, ball field, skating rink and multi-purpose court.In addition to the recreational facilities within the town, Come By Chance, offers many recreational programs such as the summer program, Leo Club, and fitness groups such as the Biggest Loser.
