The Gander and Area S.P.C.A is a non-profit organization aimed at finding good homes for the many abandoned,abused and unwanted animals. We are also determined to educate the public in the proper care of animals. The Gander and Area S.P.C.A has been in operation for approximately 15 years. We are a small group of about 30, consisting mainly of volunteers who strive to keep our shelter doors open. Our funding is mainly through our adoptions, fundraisers, and donations made by the generosity of the general public.
