United Pastoral Charge / United Church (Bethany) – Carbonear Carbonear

Objective:

The United Church of Canada is rooted in God, Jesus, and the Bible. An important part of our life and work at Bethany United Church is our ministry of Pastoral Care and Outreach. Rev. Colbourne visits the hospital on a regular basis and any other times when requested, but certainly in the case of urgent need.Another priority is regular visitation of sick and shut-in persons of the congregation. The visitation of all homes is a pastoral care objective that will in time be shared by minister and laity.

United Pastoral Charge – Bell Island-Portugal Cove Portugal Cove-St. Philip's

Objective:

A new manse was built in Portugal Cove in 1978 and the Bell Island congregation of 70 families is served from Portugal Cove. Bell Island was originally served from the Topsail United Church from 1895 to 1900. All records are maintained at the Memorial United Church in Portugal Cove.

United Pastoral Charge – Clarke’s Beach Clarke's Beach
