VOCM Cares Foundation helps to support charities in Newfoundland and Labrador through project funding and community services; and, from time to time, at the request and recommendation of recognized appropriate agencies, provides direct assistance to those in special circumstances. VOCM Cares Foundation is the focal point of the community involvement for all stations of Stingray in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Wherein we provide land fill services and/or promote services such as; waste collection, waste diversion and recycling. Our mission is to reduce the amount of landfill sites in Bay St. George, Port au Port Peninsula and Bay St. George South which were becoming a greater threat to the environment. By instituting this regional landfill site, we are hoping to fulfill a need for long term, well managed waste management.
