The Community & Youth Centre hosts many activities for both young and old. It also provides office space for rent; rental rooms for meetings, birthday parties, and many other events. It has a computer room, games room and one of the best equipped fitness rooms on the island. The Centre hosts an Annual Golf Tournament at Frenchman's Cove Golf Course which is always well supported.

In rural Newfoundland and Labrador there are 15 Corporations dedicated to the development of small business and job creation. CBDCs have been in operation for over 30 years.
