Located on the eastern shore of Placentia Bay, the museum showcases the the communitys 300-year old heritage.Exhibits at the institution include the American military presence at the Argentia navel base from 1941 to 1994, complete with photos of soldiers and activities on the base and various artifacts. The museum also features domestic items, maritime history, sports history, and education.
