Crow’s Nest Officers Club St. John's

Objective:

The Crow's Nest began in WWII as the Sea-Going Officers' Club. Today it is a National Historic Site which commemorates the role of the Allied navies, particularly the RCN, in the Battle of the Atlantic. It is a time capsule of the 1940s as it maintains its war-time atmosphere.

Cupers Cove Soiree Inc. Cupids

Objective:

The Cupers Cove Soiree is located in the beautiful historic town of Cupids. The festival takes place annually on the third weekend of August. Events include games of chance, concession stands, John Guy Re-enactment, daily meals, folk festival, Mr. & Mrs. Soiree Pageant, fireworks, adult dances and cash bar all weekend.

Cupids Legacy Inc. Cupids

Objective:

The Cupids Legacy Centre was built in 2010 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the establishment of the first English settlement in Canada here in Cupids, on the island of Newfoundland. It houses a state-of-the-art exhibit that illuminates the rich historical and cultural narrative of Cupids and the Conception Bay North area, more than 160,000 artifacts recovered by archaeologists from the Cupids Cove Plantation Site, an archaeology field laboratory, a full-service reception hall, a Family History Resource Centre, a rooftop Faerie Garden, and our Museum Shop.
